  • Originally started: 12/2004

  • Original Tools: pencil and then Paint Shop Pro 5 and mouse

  • Current Tools: Paint Shop Pro 9 and Wacom graphics tablet

  • Original Inspiration: Saw a cute baby in an ad and had a weird urge to draw kids.

  • Other Comments: Kids are kind of hard to draw, which is why I don't do them often.

This image shows the original pencil doodle done on a piece of scratch paper while I was bored. I've adjusted it a bit to make it easier to see since it was kind of light when I scanned it. I was kind of watching my Beta fish tooling around his hex tank while I was doodling, so the fins are partially inspired by him.

I barely got to laying down color before I got too busy to work in this for a long while and my interest turned elsewhere. It was the holiday season and I was working a lot of extra hours. Not to worry... I will get back around to it... eventually. *chuckle* I always do.
