Originally started: ?; restarted later because I hated how it was
turning out

Original Tools: pencil, Paint Shop Pro 5 and mouse
-
Current Tools: Paint Shop Pro 9 and Wacom graphics tablet

Original Inspiration: No clue on this one. I just doodled it out one
day. Probably spawned by looking at some weird magazine ad. I do that a lot.

Other Comments: This was originally called Moonlight Dancer, but I
just couldn't stand how it was looking, so I totally reworked the idea. For
some reason my brain decided it should be the last fairy dancing her last
dance after the humans destroyed pretty much all of the rest of the world.

This image shows the original layout sketch I made after making a really
ugly doodle on some notebook paper. I don't think any of the images of what
I was originally doing with it survived. I'm pretty sure I deleted all of
them when I became unhappy with how it was turning out.

This image shows the second
version of the piece with a lot of
work into the background and some rudimentary color and shading on the
fairy. The foreground grass was done with tubes that came with one of the
versions of Paint Shop Pro I've had. They're kind of there as
reference/filler at this point.
