     This painting has long been a favorite among people who know me.  The background was done literally by hand. I finger-painted the flames.  I then used a brush to paint the swirls and shapes from one corner of the canvas to the other.  I really enjoy doing this kind of painting to loosen up for more serious work or just clearing my head when I need to relax. This scan shows some variations and lines that the original doesn't because I had to stitch this image together from multiple scans. Because of this, I can't offer this one as a print until I can find someone who can scan it and charges more reasonable rates than the $50-$75 I can get it done for locally.
