There are two versions of this one as it was
initially started just to record an image I had in my head so I wouldn't
forget it. Then I found out the Council of Magickal Arts was having a
contest with the theme "The Magick of Spring" for their Beltane 2008 shirts
and program book cover. I finished the first in just straight DAZ|Studio.
The second was transported over to Photoshop Elements 4 where I made it the
right size for the contest and also added a sketch filter called
"Crosshatch". I really liked the almost Norman Rockwell kind of look that
gave it. Both images are below.

The DAZ|Studio & Paint Shop Pro version.

The DAZ|Studio & Paint Shop Pro + Photoshop Elements version.
Can't tell the difference? Here, let
me give you some close-ups that will make it quite apparent why I find the
filtered version much more charming and decided to enter it into the Beltane
contest.

To me it just looks better with that cross-hatch
filter. Unfortunately the image didn't win the CMA contest. It will soon be
available on merchandise over on Cafe Press.
