One of the online galleries where I used to display my work decided it might be fun to start up a gallery where the artists put up fantasy portraits of themselves. For the portrait gallery, I decided to play on the more laid back, cat-like part of my nature. This image is based on a real photo pf myself with  a lot of hand painting, a hint of blending and a touch of filtering spread over eight layers which were then merged into one. Created in Paintshop Pro. Under all that paint somewhere is my real face. LOL! This image has become a "traditional" element for the cover of the calendar I try to put out each year featuring my artwork.
